Automated Tipping/Flaring
Tipping and flaring adjust the end geometry of a thermoplastic tube. Pressing a tube into a heated die tapers the front. Pushing the tube's inner diameter onto a mandrel expands the end. This unit offers adjustable temperature and linear travel speed. A micrometer fitted to the linear actuator provides feedback and adjustability of travel.
